STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Language and Content
All course content, communication with professors, and support services are entirely in Portuguese.
Important: Completing a course in a language other than English may reduce employability in environments where English is required.
2. Delivery Format and Duration
The program is 100% online.
Total duration: 18 to 20 months, divided into two stages:
STAGE 1 – Course Modules:
11 subjects, each lasting 5 weeks, totaling 15 months.
STAGE 2 – Final Paper (TCF):
Duration of 3 to 5 months, with the support of a PhD advisor.
3. How Each Subject Works (STAGE 1)
Each course lasts 5 weeks and follows this format:
Week 1 – Consent Form:
A mandatory activity with 3 yes/no questions.
Must be completed in the first week to unlock course content.
If not completed, access to the course will be blocked.
Weeks 2 to 5 – Content and Activities:
Content is divided into 20 topics, with 5 topics per week.
Each topic includes an e-book, videos, and additional reading links.
Final Week – Assessment and Webquest (mini-paper):
Dedicated to review, writing the final mini-paper, and completing the final quiz.
4. Assessments per Subject
Each subject includes 4 types of assessment, each worth 25% of the final grade:
Weekly Quizzes:
4 quizzes with 10 multiple-choice questions. You have two attempts; the highest score counts.
Discussion Forums:
4 forums based on weekly topics, moderated by the course tutor.
Webquest:
A mini-paper assigned in the first week and submitted by the end of the course.
Final Assessment:
10 multiple-choice questions, available only in the final week. One attempt only.
✅ You must score 8.0 or higher to pass each course.
5. Summary of a Subject
One course =
1 Consent Form + 20 topics + 4 quizzes + 4 forums + 1 Webquest + 1 Final Assessment = 5 weeks
6. Final Paper (TCF) – STAGE 2
Completed in the last months of the program.
You will work one-on-one with a PhD advisor.
Meetings via video call and contact via WhatsApp or email.
The paper can be a research project, case study, or literature review.
