Student performance is converted into letter grades according to the following scale:

Key Rules
“D” (Withdrawal): Student withdrew before the semester's midpoint.
“DF”: Withdrawal after the midpoint, and the student failed. Affects both qualitative and quantitative SAP.
“W”: Withdrawal within the allowed period, does not affect cGPA but is considered in SAP. Excessive W’s harm completion rate.
“I” (Incomplete): Allowed via a formal request. Students have 2 weeks after the end of the course to complete pending work unless more time is formally approved.
“P”: Indicates minimum course expectations were met. Not calculated in cGPA but counts as credits earned.
“NP”: Did not meet expectations. Not included in cGPA.
“F”: Failing grade, counted in the cGPA.
NC, EX, and T: Do not affect cGPA but count as attempted and/or completed credits.
“S”: Considered in SAP analysis.
Grade Appeals
Grades are final once recorded by the Registrar. However, students may appeal following the Grade Change and Appeal Policy.
