Quick answer
Quizzes are weekly graded activities that follow the content of each course and count toward your final grade. They are all available as soon as the course starts, you get 2 attempts per quiz (the highest score counts), and you can access all of them directly in the AVA.
How it works
Each course is organized by weeks, and each week covers 5 main topics. The quizzes correspond to the content of those topics and are all available as soon as the course starts, so you do not need to wait for a specific week to access them.
You get 2 attempts to complete each quiz. The highest score between the two attempts is the one that counts toward your final average.

Step by step
- Go to AVA – Virtual Learning Environment.
- On the AVA home page, you will see all your available courses. Click on the current course (the one that is in progress).
- Once inside the course, scroll down until you find the block for the desired week.
- Click on the quiz that matches the desired week. You can view and answer the quiz whenever you are ready.
- On the quiz page, click "Attempt quiz now".
- Read each question carefully and select the answer you want.
- After answering every question, click "Finish attempt" at the bottom of the page.
- Review the attempt summary to make sure every question has been answered. If everything looks right, click "Submit all and finish". If you want to fix something first, click "Return to attempt".
- Confirm on the pop-up that appears by clicking "Submit all and finish" again.
- On the review screen, with every question answered, click "Finish review" at the bottom of the page. Your grade will be shown automatically.

What do I do if I find an error in a quiz question?
Report it by opening a ticket in the Knowledge Base, letting us know which quiz and which question has the error.
When will I know my quiz grade?
When you submit the quiz, your grade is shown automatically, and the correct answer to each question appears right away too. The full answer key and detailed feedback only become available after the quiz's final deadline, according to the date listed in the academic calendar.
