Active Student – A student that is actively attending courses and following their scheduled educational track.


Application Accepted – Documents have been reviewed and the prospect has been accepted to enroll into a MUST program.


Application Submitted – Applicant has completed all documents and the application is ready for review by the Admissions Representative and/or Director of Admissions.


Canceled – Prospect record is canceled due to failure to pay, failure to start classes, or failure to progress in the enrollment process. A student record that is canceled can reapply for enrollment but must complete all new documentation if it is for future start dates.


Capstone – This only applies to programs that have a Capstone course. Students that have successfully completed all prerequisite courses for their program of study and have received approval to progress into the Capstone section of their program. During the Capstone phase, students will have 15 weeks to successfully complete their capstone. Students that are unsuccessful on their first 15-week attempt can repeat Capstone and upon approval, will be afforded an additional 15-week semester to complete. Capstone can only be repeated once. Any additional repeat attempts will require the submission of an appeal.


Cohort – A group of students that has started at the same time in the same program and are typically labeled by their start date.


Graduate – Student has successfully completed all coursework and met all graduation requirements and obligations as stated in the Institutional Catalog and their program of study.


Graduate with a Balance – Students have successfully completed all coursework and met all graduation requirements as stated in the Institutional Catalog except the financial requirement. Students will be moved to graduate status once they have met all financial obligations.


Conditional Acceptance – Documents have been reviewed and it was determined there are items missing or pending issues. Prospect must submit documents or resolve the issue to progress in the process. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation of their application.


CWA (Cancel With Attendance) – Prospect started classes (posted attendance) during the first week of the program start but decided to cancel or withdraw during the initial Add/Drop period (7 calendar days).


Dismissal – Students that have violated the University code of conduct, academic standards, found in violation of a policy or procedure, or acted in an unbecoming way may be dismissed from the University.


LOA / PLOA – Students facing difficulties that will temporarily prevent them from continuing their educational track may take a Leave of Absence (LOA) or Personal LOA (PLOA). Approved requests will have an assigned timeframe. Students must return by the end of that timeframe to avoid being withdrawn.


New Applicant – Prospect has applied and expressed interest in a MUST program but is still pending all documents.


Not Interested – Prospect has decided not to enroll in MUST or our programs at this time. This includes leads interested in programs we do not offer.


Pending Payment – A prospect record is on hold for payment processing. Once the student makes the initial payment, the record can progress.


Prospect Contacted – A MUST admissions representative has contacted the prospect to follow up.


Prospect Interviewed – Admissions Representative interviewed the prospect to ensure they meet admissions requirements and explain the enrollment process.


Prospect Requested Info – A prospective student sent a request (lead) for more information regarding MUST and our programs.


Reenroll – Any student who applied previously but failed to start (Canceled) or was in CWA status. Not to be used for Withdrawn, Dismissed, or Dropped students.


Reentry – Students who have previously attended and left the University due to withdrawal, drop, or dismissal, and were approved for reentry. They will be marked as Reentry until they begin classes, then updated to Active.


Registered (Enrolled) – Prospect is enrolled into ORBUND. Registrar can now enroll the prospect into the Student Management System as an enrolled future student.


Rejected / Not Approved – Prospect was rejected due to not meeting entrance requirements. The lead may be contacted in the future to follow up.


Do Not Call List – Prospect specifically requested to be placed on the “Do not call list.” The lead will not be contacted again.


SAP Appeal – Students who fail to meet the SAP Warning Academic Plan can submit a SAP appeal. The SAP Appeals Committee will decide if they will be granted another semester under SAP Probation or dismissed.


SAP Probation – Students with an approved SAP appeal will proceed to one more semester under probation. They will receive a SAP Probation Academic Plan outlining the requirements they must 

meet.


SAP Warning – A student that has not met SAP standards will be placed under SAP warning status and given a 15-week improvement plan.


Semester – Academic period of 15 weeks. MUST has Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters, each composed of three terms.


Term – Academic period typically composed of 5 weeks. Each semester includes Terms A, B, and C.


Waiting for Microsoft User Access – Prospect is waiting to receive Microsoft user access from the IT department.


Withdraw (Drop) – Students not attending, not financially compliant, or failing to meet SAP requirements without an approved LOA/PLOA will be withdrawn. They may apply for reentry later.
