Before You Start

• You must have completed and passed the Capstone/TCF course.
• You must have your financial settlement confirmed with the Financial department — release of graduation documents depends on this confirmation.

How It Works

The Defense Minutes (Ata de Defesa) is the official document that records your final work's approval by the examining committee. It is submitted by the student in tab 6 of the Capstone course, in the AVA, within the deadline set by the Coordination — exceptional deadline extensions may be opened in case of system instability, always officially communicated to the cohort.

After your graduation date and confirmation of settlement, your diploma becomes available for download in the Student Portal (Orbund). Complementary documents, such as license and EQUAA, are sent by institutional email, with the subject "Office of the Registrar - Your Graduation is Official: Graduation Documents and Next Steps (Graduated)".

All academic documentation is issued only in PDF — MUST does not physically mail graduation documents. If you need a printed copy, you can print the PDF at any print shop.

Step by Step

Submit the Defense Minutes

1. Access the Capstone course in the AVA.
2. Go to tab 6 of the course.
3. Submit the signed Defense Minutes within the deadline announced by the Coordination.
4. Watch the course announcement board for official communications about any deadline extensions.

Access your post-graduation documents

1. Confirm your financial settlement with the Financial department.
2. Wait up to 30 days after your graduation date.
3. Access the Student Portal (Orbund).
4. Click Files and Documents > Graduation.
5. View and download your diploma in PDF.
6. Check your institutional email (including spam/trash) for the complementary documents — license and EQUAA.
